Name: (Canon)Dark Pit. (fic/fanon)Pitch.
Canon: Kid Icarus: Uprising
Original or Alternate Universe: Original with fanfic add on.
Canon Point: Post-game

Setting.
He reigns from an ancient Greek world with sci-fi tendencies. (Space pirates, aliens, certain kinds of technology that shouldn't be such as the internet and video games. The latter seems to be exclusive to gods and their upper-tier servants.) It's separated by realms: Overworld, where all living things reside such as humans and wildlife. The underworld: where all souls go before being reincarnated, also houses various kinds of monsters, and the heavens where the goddess of Light resides. She watches over mandkind specifically. Every couple of decades there is a power struggle between gods. The most recent was most severe, genocide, invaders, and chaos for over three years nearly wiping humanity out. They would hurt each other and even get humanity into the mix. Violence is almost a common thing here.

Reincarnation is a big thing and probably one of the major factors from keeping the earth from totally collapsing.

History
Dark Pit simultaneously has a long and short history. He came out of a mirror. "The mirror of truth" is a mirror that replicates one's repressed emotions and thoughts even if the bearer is unaware of those very traits. Pit breaking the mirror before the copying was complete gave Dark Pit a will of his own.

Palutena recognizes her own touch in every detail of his being, and not just in the physical aspects of the replication: Palutena knows better than anyone what the Mirror of Truth does—how it draws out the most repressed of feelings and traits in the gazer’s being to give them flesh, life, a will of their own—so she is painfully aware of the fact that Dark Pit is more her child than Pit ever was: not just a being she crafted and breathed life into, but a manifestation of everything he ever loathed but could not voice, an outcry against every injustice she ever subjected him to, no matter how necessary—not a servant first, son second, but an angry, bitter adolescent pushing for his freedom
. -x

He retains Pit's memories. He even remembers the memories that Pit has long forgotten, but he prefers to be his own identity and makes little references to Pit's old memories. Over the years he tries to over-write those with his own. Upon his birth he was fundamentally wicked and destructive because he was made of Pit's carnage. He suffered boredom and a need to fight no matter who or what it was and for no reason at all. It mellowed out over time, and when it came to the bigger picture of the world, he focused it towards the logical good. He is a concentration and extraction of the dark part of Pit's soul, but not evil, he retained his good points as well--his heroic and caring side even though he's not as kind or polite about it.

The Labyrinth of Deceit is his birthplace.

(Note: Here on out is fanfic add on)

With the world war over, he was stranded on the overworld where the humans roamed. Specifically in a rubble town he was curious to see grow and later helped rebuilt. Before ending up there Dark Pit gave being a partner to a goddess a shot, but it didn't go very well with his anarchy tendencies and protective feelings towards humans. Being an embodiment of Pit's hidden feelings, he has an irreversible grudge and resentment towards Palutena. Even if he would've been a better match with her he refused. He always believed in humans and how hardy they could be on their own, and seeing it up close was a privilege to him. He relates to human, his life is as singular as theirs is (Characters are frequently bought back from the dead but he cannot be because of how he was made.) so while he doesn't have mortality like they do, he understands their drive. Humans taught him more about life just by watching them than he ever would in godly realms.

Personality
He is an anarchist of the extreme individualist kind, and in short, a 'cool'/aloof A-type tsundere. While his reasoning and ability to compromise is mature he is still very immature and mentally growing in just about every other aspect. His level of sass is very high and near uncontrolled, and accompanied with how sarcastic and sharp he is, his words have a pretty nasty bite to them. He falls to taunts easily and just as easily initiates taunting of his own. He can't handle being teased very well and that is an efficient way to rise his temper; also being embarrassed. Despite being concentrated darkness, he is always honest and prefers to be discreet rather than outright lie when it comes down to it. Even though he possesses the ability to have conversation without breaking a sweat when approached, he is introverted and prefers to observe how things tick and function; animals and humans alike. Unorganized behavior and chaos is one of his biggest peeves; at least coming from types who are supposed to be authoritative. Despite his need of independence, he is a good leader. He just prefers not to be tied down to it 24/7.

His face isn't very expressive and neither his voice (but expressing an angry assertive tone he got down pat.) but he is still a very emotional person. He feels many emotions easily, and sometimes he detests this but also appreciates what he almost didn't have--emotion and free will. He's passionate for things he believes in and is definitely a fighter when it comes to his beliefs and helping those who honestly cannot help themselves. His curiosity is high but well-controlled, he's cautious with his exploring from his previously very wildcard ways.

He is comfortable with his sexuality and likes sex. A lot. Though he's not necessarily promiscuous either. Libido is high but he can take care of it himself. If its casual or a single encounter he is strictly foreplay. Someone who he is connected and close to he is more likely to (power)bottom. He is sort of an open-relationship  person, if only because he prefers physical contact when separated from someone he loves. If he could be around his chosen person all the time, he'd be monogamous. He is very loyal at heart; but since that person is denied such access to him he has to get around to quench his nature and floppy emotions (expressed through aggression and irritation)
More on his sexuality.

Abilities/powers

He is in general an immortal(in the aging sense. He can still die through battles or environment) super human. He has a lot of stamina but not unlimited stamina; he can tire out just like anyone else after a very long run or strenuous activity. He can be poisoned but it's not life threatening. It leaves his system within minutes, same goes for something such as being paralyzed. Humans who are turned to stone stay that way, he does not. It's still a crippling effect that leaves him dazed once out of it. He has unrefined super strength, he is able to carry giant objects as well as use them as weapons, but because of his power being concentrated into his legs, he can't do it as well as Pit and prefers not to use such heavy items because they make him tired and inefficient quickly. His legs are pretty DEADLY, kicking is his favorite thing to do as well as jumping and sprinting high and far with them.

He is able to use five types of weapons but only skillfully specializes in two: bows and staffs(this doesn't mean he can with all bows and staffs). He frequently uses the Silver bow and Dark Pit staff.

With a deck of select power ups (very limited) he is capable of doing convenient things such as healing (not very good), summoning purple lasers and barriers. He has to pick and choose these powers and more often than not, they can only be used 1-3 times before a very long recharge period. He frequents healing(3), meteor shower (1), reflect barrier (2).

Weaknesses

He has poor defenses and is strangely light weight appearances aside. It's easy to throw him around like a rag doll, so he either keeps his distance or tries very hard to counter attack and dodge. He dehydrates easily as an odd trade off for not needing to eat. When dehydrated even his magic prowess weakens. His wings are incredibly sensitive, and those very wings are also the main artery to his life line. Shattering them, burning them, or even cutting them off is guaranteed to end his life or gravely injure him with a little percentage of surviving.

Taunting him is a massive downfall, it keeps him from playing it safe. It gets him up and personal to prove himself with his poor upper body strength that could endanger him.

He also has an extreme aversion toward the cold. It cuts his efficiency in movement and strength roughly in half and can even make it difficult to breathe if you surround him in the cold. Same goes for extreme heat.

Appearance
He's short. 5'5 and built like an athletic teenager with notable legs. He feels so-so about himself in the mirror. He knows he is good looking, but he's constantly changing his appearance through hair length due to insecurities of his origin; being a failed clone. Sometimes his hair is long, other times short, but fluffy locks are always present. His favorite area is his thighs. He has a thigh ring, as well as an intricate design on his shorts. He appears to be 15-16 years old despite having over 30 years of life existence to his name. His hands are little a big and he thinks they look goofy, same goes for his feet, but he in turns finds that useful for stomping faces in.

His wings are somewhat small even if they don't look that way at a glimpse. Because of their size he cannot fly without having magic in them.

His arm is scarred. It's fairly creepy looking. It looks like long rose vines grew and constricted against his skin up to his shoulder. Stab markings under the palm of his hand through the other side. In comparison to everything else his other scars are small time--his face stays clear at least.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? He's extremely intelligent but has much to learn book-wise. He was always a natural strategist when it came to the battle-field and has very refined common sense. A lot of human behaviors, history and other things considered common knowledge he isn't well versed on. It was only recently he ever saw human reproduction and birth. A strange clash of experience and innocence. Learning how to read was also a recent event.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? Thinks on his feet.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Intuitive and practical.

4. What kind of education has the character had? He taught himself and keeps up with it. More cultural/history based, geography, language including body-language. Slight thing for math but no passion for it.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? Crafting and fighting. ...He wants to be able to cook and build structures. Be it homes or detailed statues, former is more possible.

6. Is he more likely to act, or to react? Act.

7. Which is his default: fight or flight? Fight.

8. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? He has a dry sense of humor but he can laugh at someone being a dork. He makes puns of his own but doesn't seem to laugh at others. Pranks are up his ally but rare. He doesn't find respect for one who makes bathroom jokes and he has strong feelings for life so gallows is no go.

9. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person? (Canon) Being saved from who he was cloned from. As simple as it sounds it was something big. He was frequently treated as inferior despite his displays of great wit and strength. Pit's master wanted him dead when he first popped out of the mirror from the underworld, yet Pit refused. Even with his aggression towards Pit, the other angel playfully tolerated it and didn't try to kill him. They weren't friends nor enemies, yet Pit nearly sacrificed his life for him. He felt acknowledge by someone for once, and treated as a legitimate life after all the time gods called him a failed clone and an unnatural existence.

He does acknoowledge that he isn't as powerful as Pit, but he can keep up with him and outsmart him for a win. But a test of raw strength and defense is something he would always lose.

10. What does he fear? Amusingly enough the world ending. Not so much his own life ending, but all life ending. Even though he wouldn't see the world go on anymore in death, he takes comfort in knowing that his unnatural soul can still reincarnate if he ever felt finished with his own life.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. He kills his "mother" twice. The other one he doesn't really respect but tolerates. (Palutena)

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Yes and no. Pretty incestuous!

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? No

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? A lot of random humans he's kind of like the unofficial leader/care taker of even though he says otherwise.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Phosphora. Chasing around a galactic pair of unicorns. Later, he resided with her goddess for a short while before being discarded.

6. Does he have other close friends? Pair of human Mercenaries named Magnus and Gaol.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? Pretty easily if human, but he hates gods and most servants of gods.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? Neither--if he had to choose, probably friends because you can pick them.

9. Does he have any rivals or enemies? Most, if not all gods are his enemies. He can't stand them. His rivals tend to be his best friends, however. He loves to spar.

10. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?

4

Beliefs

1. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?  They're pretty lose and not strict. He believes in intelligence and power in oneself rather than relying on gods, he believes in honesty and equality. He hates hierarchy society.

2. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Most things dealing with believing in gods makes him intolerant and rude. People not taking the opportunity to read also annoys him enough to judge their character. beings who don't respect all life he finds disgusting.

3. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? Hating gods is an interesting prejudice. It's a rational hate at least. He wouldn't want to kill all gods especially if unprovoked...but most he wouldn't mind seeing drop dead leaving humans alone and seeing a balance simply retain itself be possible.

Daily Life

1. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?

2. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? He doesn't have to eat. Whenever he does it's either to be social, quench a near persistent thirst or pleasure--his tastebuds are sensitive so he prefers sweet and bland things. A texture fellow.

4. Season? Summer
5. Book?
